Hoping the ROI on your work will be worth it someday...
You may tell yourself that one day you will see the ROI on your work.
You might think this is just a period of your career where you are paying your dues and then eventually that handsome payoff, title, or role will make it all worth it.
The time to improve the ROI on your work is RIGHT NOW.
You may think your job, your business, your industry, you degree, your boss, your peers dictate the level of success that you achieve.
The truth is that we can define success for ourselves and then achieve it - NOT by solving for all of those things, but instead by directly changing what we CAN control.
You may wonder what that looks like, whether you could do it, whether your situation is the exception that can't be helped.
